What is Gravity?

Gravity is an exclusive private member’s club that caters to the needs of business executives and individuals seeking exclusive, highly personalised and holistic wellness services. Services range from personal coaching to specialist treatments such as personalised nutrition programmes, spa services, custom-made vitamin supplementation and a number of alternative therapies. Gravity’s holistic approach is exceptional; it boasts a comprehensive range of fitness expertise, fitness and relaxation facilities, business amenities and dining options all available, under one roof, accompanied by a level of service expected at an exclusive private member’s club.  Every aspect of our members’ well-being is taken care of seamlessly with our in-house doctor dispensing advice and health tests, wellness practitioners that include massage therapists, nutritionists and osteopaths, and certified fitness coaches all working together. Artemis, a modern Mediterranean restaurant located on the 40th floor will open its doors in October 2015. Gravity is part of the Fitness First Group of health clubs.


Where is Gravity?

Gravity is located on the 38th and 39th floor of CapitaGreen, 138 Market Street, Singapore. It is a building with environmentally friendly, innovative features.  


What is the club size?

Gravity will take up 17,000 sq feet over 2 floors with a 6,500 sq feet modern Mediterranean restaurant Artemis at level 40.

What is the Gravity app?

The Gravity app is a tool designed to help our members stay fully charged by providing a holistic health and fitness tracking capability. It will also allow members to track their personal best and stay connected with like-minded people, Certified Fitness Coaches and the wellness practitioners. It’s connected fitness at your finger tips!


Am I able to bring guests in to the club?

Yes, members can bring a guest for a one-time visit. Guests must be accompanied by a member. Prior to using the club, we will provide a tour of the club for your guest and your guest must complete and endorse on our guest register and indemnity waiver. As we are an exclusive members club, we'll request all guests to present their Identity Card. If they wish to use the club facilities after this, they can either join the club or they'll receive access to the same privileges as a member for a nominal fee ($53.50 per visit, as a guest of a member)


Can I freeze my membership?

Memberships cannot be put on freeze.   


What is the duration of the membership?

We offer 12-month and 24-month memberships. 


What if I want to cancel my membership?

If you wish to cancel your membership, please speak to our Member Relations officer or drop us a line and we will get in touch with you. For details regarding cancelling, please refer to our Terms and Conditions (Section 4 - Membership).


What are the Terms and Conditions of a membership?

Is there WiFi in the club?

Yes, there is complimentary wireless Internet connection at all areas of the club.


Can my children wait for me in the lounge while I workout?

No. For the safety of the children and members, children are not allowed into the club, except when there are special events, which children are permitted to join.


Are the classes inclusive of membership?

Yes all our group classes are included in the membership.


What types of classes are available at Gravity?

Gravity focusses on small groups with personalised attention, and we offer 30-minute and 60-minute classes. Our classes range from Restorative Yoga to high intensity, high performance workouts that cater to each member’s preferences and goals. 


Are there different levels for classes?

Our classes are suitable for all fitness levels as you can work at your own pace and progress. Our instructors will work with you to ensure that you achieve optimum results.


How do I work with a personal coach?

All our coaches are Certified Fitness Coaches with internationally recognised certification such as a degree or diploma in sports science, physiotherapy or personal training. They have a vast experience coming from different backgrounds to offer specialised services for our members. Our coaches will work with you to understand your goals and, by using science and technology they will identify any physical imbalances you may have, before moving on to a series of simple-yet-telling fitness tests. With results in hand, they will then create a highly personalised programme and lifestyle plan to help you stay at the top of your game.


How do I make an appointment with a personal coach?

You can approach our Coaches directly or speak to our Member Relations team who will put you directly in touch with one of our coaches based on your preference. As a member, you will also be able to take advantage of our Gravity app where you can view all the coaches’ profile, as well as connect and make appointment directly with your preferred coach. 


Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes you can. Simply use the Gravity app to reschedule the appointment after checking for an available time via the app.


What if I cancel my appointment?

If you are unable to make the scheduled appointment, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, the full value of your session will be charged.

What are the services available?

Executive Wellness Screening

As a new member, you will receive a complimentary executive wellness screening from our Gravity physician. From there, the physician will work hand in hand with our coaches to provide a personalised fitness and wellness programme to suit your needs.

3D Body Scan

As part of the induction programme, our members will also be taken through a 3D Body Scan, Fit 3D. It collects 400 data points that will be used to build a 3D model of our members and track their progress, be it weight loss or muscular development.

Customised Supplements

Apart from that, based on the physician’s analysis, you can also be prescribed a custom formulated supplement created based on your individual needs. Gravity NextVits supplement is created completely bespoke to you, by conveniently packing multiple high quality ingredients into one single formulation - one bottle, one dosage, fewer capsules and minimal fillers.

Other wellness services

We also offer an array of traditional and contemporary treatments that understand the daily strains placed on your body. Our services include Chiropractic, Craniosacral Therapy, Naturopathy, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Remedial Deep Tissue Massage and Rolfing.


How do I make an appointment with the physician or a wellness practitioner?

As a Gravity member, you will have access to the Gravity app which allows you to view the profile and services of each practitioner. From there, you will be able make an appointment with your preferred practioner.

Yes you can. Simply use the Gravity app to reschedule the appointment after checking for an available time via the app. 


What if I cancel my appointment?

What is Gravity-NextVits?

NextVits is a unique multi-patent pending platform that allows health professionals to custom-formulate supplements for Gravity members. Gravity-NextVits empowers Gravity members to replenish nutrients based on their individual exercise 


How do I order Gravity-NextVits supplements?

Our Gravity fitness experts will conduct the executive wellness screening when you first join the club. They will then work with you to understand your health concerns and needs before creating a customised formula for you. You are free to ask questions about this custom-formulated supplement and place your first order with Gravity.


How do I re-order?

You may order online from here or order from our Gravity physician in the club.


SPA

Can non-members use the spa?

To ensure the well-being of our members and to maintain their privacy, only members are allowed to use the spa facilities.


Can I buy a package of treatments?

At the moment, we do not offer packages, but do speak to our Member Relations team and they’ll be able to help you plan a range of treatments.


How do I make an appointment with a therapist?

As a Gravity member, you will have access to the Gravity app. From there, you will be able make an appointment with your preferred therapist.

How do I book the meeting room in the club?

Simply request to book the meeting room with our Member Relations team.


What if I cancel my booking?

Yes you can cancel your booking of the meeting room; however, it would be appreciated if it is cancelled in advance for the benefit of other members.


Can I bring my guest/s into the meeting room?

Yes you can. Gravity is designed to ensure that all your personal and business needs are met under one roof. Simply provide the name(s) of your guest(s) to our Member Relations team when you book the meeting room.


What type of food does the restaurant serve?

Artemis offers Mediterranean food and it is prepared by a team of top contemporary Mediterranean chefs. The Artemis menu is designed around the finest seasonal produce that is organic and sustainable where possible.  It is our belief that healthy eating can be delicious and sophisticated too.


What are the opening hours for restaurant?

Artemis is opens for lunch and dinner.
Mon – Fri : 11:30 – 14:00 
Mon – Sat : 18:00 – 22:00 


Can my guests dine at the restaurant if I’m not there?

Yes your guests can dine at the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner.


How do I make a reservation?

Simply speak to our Member Relations team who will be happy to help you book a table. You can also book a table using the Gravity app (available when the restaurant opens) or call the restaurant directly. As a member, you will have priority reservation.


What if I cancel my reservation?

You can simply inform our Member Relations team or contact the restaurant directly.


Can I order some food to be sent to the member’s lounge, meeting room or swimming pool?

Yes you can. We have a selection of food and beverages for your selection, ranging from gourmet coffee to healthy smoothies to a delicious wrap or sandwich – simply order from our Member Relations team.


Can I order food to-go?

Yes you can. We have a range of food and beverage options available at the member lounge and you can also request for complimentary to-go gourmet coffee or tea.
